Key takeaways

  • 0G Labs is rolling out a six-month program to onboard 3,000+ Chinese-speaking AI and Web3 developers.
  • The initiative includes bootcamps, technical content, and offline meetups to support community engagement.
  • The program will feature AMAs, workshops, and mentorship to build a self-sustaining local developer network.

Targeting regional growth through education and localization

0G Labs has unveiled a new developer initiative targeting Chinese-speaking regions, with the aim of bringing more than 3,000 new developers into its ecosystem. The six-month program is a collaborative effort with HackQuest and TinTinLand, focusing on education, community building, and localized support to broaden access to the 0G protocol.

As the team behind the 0G decentralized AI infrastructure, 0G Labs is working to make advanced AI tools, such as AI agents, more accessible to developers globally. The new growth program specifically addresses the linguistic and educational needs of Chinese-speaking Web3 and AI developers by offering a fully localized learning experience.

The initiative features a structured learning path designed with HackQuest that includes three online bootcamps. Each virtual event will guide developers through key elements of the 0G tech stack, including decentralized storage, compute layers, data availability mechanisms, and application development.

In tandem, TinTinLand will produce two Chinese-language video courses and host two additional developer bootcamps. These resources are aimed at helping participants apply their knowledge in real-world AI development scenarios built on 0G’s infrastructure.

Expanding reach through community and content

To further deepen local engagement, 0G Labs will run two technical writing competitions to encourage the creation of original content within the community. The company will also publish a series of technical articles in Chinese, aiming to raise the overall quality and accessibility of learning materials for the regional audience.

In a bid to promote leadership within the community, 0G Labs is also seeking 10 experienced technical contributors to serve as mentors and ambassadors. These individuals will share best practices and help onboard newer developers into the 0G ecosystem.

The program will conclude with online AMAs and hands-on workshops that cover both foundational technical topics and advanced project tutorials. Additionally, in-person developer meetups are scheduled to take place across five cities and two universities, creating opportunities for deeper collaboration and networking among participants.

Conclusion

By launching this Chinese-language developer program, 0G Labs is taking a significant step toward fostering a strong regional developer base for its decentralized AI platform. Through a combination of education, mentorship, and community-building activities, the initiative not only lowers the entry barrier for new developers but also aims to cultivate long-term contributors to the 0G ecosystem.
